Almost always from Chinese registries, but a couple other Asian countries, too. Definitely a scam. Very few of the domains they list have ever wound up getting registered by anyone. The first email looked somewhat legit so I replied.Then I checked the domains and realized they weren't really taken. Then I got the same automated response. Definitely a domain scare tactic.
