Nightmare Host
November 3, 2008 on 6:15 pm | In Insider View by Josh Jones |
Ha, now that’d be a hilarious thing to call DreamHost whenever we had some downtime!

But this time, I’m talking about the DreamHost Halloween party we had Friday night at Marvimon in Los Angeles!

And that’s really all I have to say.

Yall look like an AWESOME bunch of folks! If I were to be the kind of man who:
a) wanted a job
b) was willin to live in a nuthouse big city
I would DEFINITELY come BEG to work fer Dreamhost, and honestly would probably PAY YALL to let me be yalls janitor!
Unfortunately fer me and yall (you know, cheap labor!) both in this case I am a hillbilly with a plan.
I had an AWESOME Halloween time too! I went to an underground party out on an 80 acre piece of land on a mountain here in my little ol town, put on by some serious folks! It had a stage and bands out thare, with barrels of FAR all over the place to warm up with, and I was told to come up thare and tell on the stage around midnight the story of my Great Great Granddaddy gittin HUNG!!! Took him 11 minutes to die… HAD TO HANG HIM TWICE!!!
Anybody that gives a shit can read all the whole shit at my HenryNorris.org website. It was some shit to find out on my 35th birthday this past Oct.11th!
Anyway, yall really do look like a wonderful bunch of folks to have as work family together, and there is always a part of me that wishes I was thare with yall workin everday fer even just a little while… maybe a year er somethin! I just thank the experience would be awesome, amazin, and above all… WORTH WHILE. I would hang with interestin new folks and do my absolute best and providin TOP NOTCH janitorial services… but yall would have to hire it out external if somebody made a REAL NASTY MESS IN THE BATHROOM!!!

Hey, yall need to tell more of them folks to make some of them interview profile thangs that some of yall’s gite on the main site… how come aint but them few done one of them thangs? I know from support exchanges that yall are chock full of super cool folks… SHARE EM!!!
And listen, why in the hale dont yall do more video sharin of thangs around Dreamhost? Yall should be given us a full video tour, and lettin us meet everbody, and ever month put out a new installment where yall interview a differnt employee and we git to meet em and find out what kinds of inspirin thangs they might be into personally and shit…
REALLY, it is a shame yall aint doin that… what are yall scared yall caint hold the number of folks that will sign up as a result of it gittin FAMOUS er somethin?
November 4th, 2008 at 12:18 pm
Anyway, I love yall with all my heart… please dont ever boot my sites till I can afford dedicated er somethin!!! I caint IMAGINE havin to be anywhere else… and I will tell you that if I am ever anywhere else, it will be because I am HAVIN to be!

Well HALE, if aint nobody else gone tawlk then I will if aint nobody gite ni objections…
I am just goin to come right on out and say it… I am signed into my Dreamhost account right now and don’t even have anythang hostin related to do… I just FEEL this nice, WARM feelin when I am thare, like, I don’t know. If HALE was havin to spend all eternity logged into my Dreamhost acct, I would be like the rabbit in the briar patch!
I just like to look around in thare, and check thangs over like probly what my Granddaddy and on back felt when they would walk around and check out their farm crops and shit.
Also, I do not have bookmarks to the various places of The Dreamhost Universe… I just use the links up to the right of my panel… and like, even if I JUST want to check THIS blawg’s comments, I will sign in and click the link, and then while I am thare I will maybe just click around and look thangs over.
Sometimes I will even just stare at the panel home page, not lookin at nuthin in particular, but sort of relaxin my eyes and just lettin the overall color scheme and lines sing my soul a sorta visual lullaby!
Too, sometimes in the wee hours when I have exhausted myself, I will just go to the Dreamhost Wiki and browse around fer a couple of random new thangs to learn… it is the most spectacular hosting and web ops how to on the net that I have seen anywhere!
The Force is OBVIOUSLY strong with yall!

I am diggin the Popey & Family! Did he not have a corn cob pipe? When I was about 6 or so I bought me a corn cob pipe from the general store and was Popeye all around the house and school fer a few days or so. I also became obsessed with drawin him over and over fer a couple of weeks I bleeve it was, and had a full LP of audio Popeye stories I’d listen to a lot.
Very soon thereafter I ceased givin a shit about Popeye, but later in life I traveled the country livin in my van in the woods, and woke up one mornin in Illinois I bleeve it was, and it was the home town of the creator of Popeye, had a Popeye statue in town, and then looked across and laid eyes on The Mississippi River fer my first time ever… it was awesome. Sadly, I did not go to the Popeye Museaum, as I was makin time on gittin to the Pine Ridge Sioux reservation fer a meetin with a grave.

WOW dwr, you are loved too! PEACE!
i think you could be…arrested, sent to Juvi, removed from your parents forever, will never have your juvenile records expunged, and can be denied from ever going to college…if you brought a corn cob pipe to school - these days at least : )
I don’t think I have seen a ‘general store’ in my lifetime, coming from the big city of Tucson. I know they exist out there, somewhere in June and Ward Cleaver’s town.
Thanks for the link to rlparker, Mike P., Funny, as I sit here online on my iMac, and there displayed is rlparker on an iMac. Just makes me happy to be a geek!

Well, that was back in the 70s down here in the DEEP South, so didn’t nobody thank nothin of the little ol pipe with me sayin I was Popeye, but yeah, these days thangs is just insane.
Yeah, we still had two old school general stores back then, all the way up to the mid 80s when we gite a Wal Mart.
June & Ward would have been despised and harrased around here, cause Ward would have been a fat cat exec at the ONE “good job” they was around here, exploitin the cheap Southern labor. I would have at the VERY LEAST lit bags of dog shit on his stoop, rung the doorbell and run. Then I would have probly put hawg guts all over their clothes line (well, they’d have a drier I’m sure).

You really needed to put the same reply twice, just to link to two different crap sites that aren’t even hosted here?
Even a spam bot would have been smarter.
