Our Smog Shall Blot Out The Sun

SPF 2000

Then we shall surf in the shade!

Apparently the Hollywood Hills caught on fire this afternoon!

We also just got a notice from our building… coincidence?

To All Garland Tenants,

At or about 1:33 PM, 1:45 PM & 1:55 PM today, 3-30-07, the Garland Building experienced 3 spikes from DWP. The building infrastructure is currently running normally with no issues to report and is not on generators. We will continual to update you with more information as it becomes available.

If you should have any questions or concerns please contact the Office of the Building.

“Continual”, eh?

Honestly, it’s not normally this bad.

Their grammar may need work, but at least our power’s okay!

I don’t care if you or the building have got any technical stuff that can’t read or write. As long as they fix the problems fast they just do a perfect job!

I just don’t understand: theoretically, how could this smog affect your building? Let me know! THX! :)

    Respiro

  3. Coupons Says:

Not the smog, but the fire could affect the power grid…
    Hope everything is ok now.

So much for that convenient lie about greenhouse gasses causing global warming. I remember when we all lived in fear of nuclear winter.

There were similar fires in Northern Thailand a few weeks ago and the temperature dropped more than 10 degrees c.

Eh, let the sign burn. As long as our sites are all up and running :P

Did the fire today cause Karl any undo stress, because he has disabled my account without any warning today for what he called “violations of DreamHost’s Terms of Service and US Copyright law for distributing a cracked copy of the “Civilizations 4″ game”

If he wasn’t under the stress of the fire, he might have sent me an email asking for clarification, even just disabling that one domain and not all of mine. He could have figured out that it was not the game but a mod, and add-on that does not violate copyright and is not the game at all!!!

The Hollywood sign is burning? Get a webcam out there pronto!

I’m surprised no one did film it and upload it on livevideo or something

So how exactly does erasing comments with dissent makes for “PR.” ? Completely preposterous!
