They are the most dedicated web host team on the Internet. Good grief, even hosts need a break now and then, and even when people do take a break and blog or do whatever else, their is still a bunch of other people at DreamHost working to keep your site up. Remember they host hundreds of thousands of sites, and that is a statement for how good their services are. Every host out there is going to have an error or downtime sometime - computers aren't perfect just like humans. It is sad to see that some people complain about DreamHost’s services. They are the most dedicated web host team on the Internet. Good grief, even hosts need a break now and then, and even when people do take a break and blog or do whatever else, their is still a bunch of other people at DreamHost working to keep your site up. We rely on email and jabber very heavily and don't have all that many face to face meetings, but it would be extremely difficult if we HAD to only rely on email and jabber. Sometimes a 10 minute face to face can accomplish something that could literally take a week over email, and explaining a complex system over IM can get very frustrating very quickly.
