I found that I can’t initiate IM convo’s with gtalk people unless I’m already on their list. So I used gtalk to ask all my existing friends to put me on their lists. Kind of annoying.

Woo… The panel problems seem fixed now and my new Jabber account is working great. I’ve tested it with a couple people who run their own Jabber servers and it Just Worked(tm) from my point of view.

This is awesome. Google Talk came out and said they were federating and this was the first thing I thought of. Works great. Now if just more people used it Google Talk…
