It’s our birthday too!
Google turns 7 today, we turn 8!
Too bad we didn’t think of making yet another search engine back in 1997. Oh well, we’re not complaining toooo loudly.
To celebrate we’ve made a bunch of changes:
* Unlimited domains and sub-domains on all hosting plans!
* Domain registrations are now $9.95/year (33% off!)
* If you have multiple plans with us the disk/bandwidth is now shared among all domains (no more breaking it down by plan)!
* The panel’s been re-organized a fair bit, integrating a lot of disjointed tabs into what we hope is a much easier to use format!
* For the first 888 new signups, you can get 80% off the first year of any 1-2 year plan by using the promo code “888″ when signing up!

Happy Birthday Dreamhost! I have been with you guys for a little over a year and I couldn’t be happier. When I was shopping, I was looking for a good deal. Never did I ever think I’d end up with over 5 gigs of storage for under $10/month. Never did I think I’d be able to host unlimited domains. I just wanted to thank you guys for keeping the bar so high. I rely on my site, and I think it’s in the best of hands. Thanks and Congradulations!

Been with Dreamhost for over 7 years.

Their domains are dirt cheap and the hosting is still so-so and it’s too soon to tell if it’s good but I’ve read on couple of forums of user with horror-story when signing up with GoDaddy.com. Oh boy, gulp. Touch wood eh … but so far, everything has been fine for me. I’m on shared hosting, and I hope GoDaddy won’t add to many other sites on the shared server. I did however nearly abandon my contract with GoDaddy for Dreamhost.com. I recommend this hosting site if you don’t wish to gamble on GoDaddy. They promise to add bandwidth & webspace every freaking week to your hosting account. How cool is that. Well too bad, as I signed up with GoDaddy way before the offer [...]
